The signing of the Declaration, which immediately entered into force, has enabled the improvement of the efficient co-operation between the public prosecutor’s offices of the Republic of Serbia and France in many ways.

Among them "the establishment of direct contact points with regard to organised crime and other serious types of crimes at the prosecutor’s offices in Serbia and France” particularly stands out.

During the discussions between Dolovac and Jean-Claude Marin, the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of France at the Supreme Court of Cassation, common priorities in the field of combating all types of crime were confirmed, "particularly regarding organised crime and other serious types of crimes, through intensified co-operation of the competent public prosecutor’s offices of the two amicable countries”, the released statement reads.
